About this code of ethics
The purpose of this code of ethics (Code) is to explain MOSTLY AI's values and how they relate to our key ethical issues MOSTLY AI faces.
Who this code applies to
This Code applies to all persons working for us or any group company, including employees at all levels, directors, officers, agency workers, seconded workers, volunteers, interns and individual temporary or fixed term contractors, wherever located.
This Code does not form part of any contract of employment or contract to provide services and we may amend it at any time.
Responsibility for the code
The Managing Directors have overall responsibility for ensuring the Code complies with our legal and ethical obligations, and that all those under our control comply with it.
The Legal Counsel has primary and day-to-day responsibility for implementing this Code, monitoring its use and effectiveness, dealing with any queries about it and auditing internal control systems and procedures to ensure they are effective in managing ethics and conduct on behalf of MOSTLY AI.
Management at all levels are responsible for ensuring those reporting to them understand and comply with this Code and are given adequate and regular training on it and the issues covered by it.
You are invited to comment on this Code and suggest ways in which it might be improved. Comments, suggestions and queries are encouraged and should be addressed to the People team at elsa.mendes@mostly.ai.

Competition
We respect our competitors on the synthetic data market and believe that fair and tough competition constitutes a cornerstone of high quality and high pace innovation research and development.

Bribery And Corruption

Trade Sanctions And Import/Export Controls
MOSTLY AI commits to complying with any and all applicable trade sanctions and import/export control mechanisms applicable to any of its group companies.

Slavery, Human Trafficking And Child Labour
MOSTLY AI takes a strong stance against any forms of slavery, human trafficking and child labor and does not cooperate with entities that are involved (or where there is a string suspicion that they are involved) in any such practices.

Sustainability
As a fully remote company, MOSTLY AI dedicated to reducing its environmental footprint:

We favor electronic means of communication, including video conferencing, over travel wherever possible.

Company assets and information

Intellectual Property
MOSTLY AI’s IP is managed by the Managing Directors with the assistance of the Legal Counsel. Since our main IP assets are protected as trade secrets, any employee is under a strict confidentiality obligation with regard to any and all information received in the course of business.

Contract Authorisation
Contracts entered into by MOSTLY AI Solutions MP GmbH will be signed by Michael Platzer. Contracts entered into by MOSTLY AI Inc. will be signed by Tobias Hann. MOSTLY AI has not granted any Power of Representation of Procuration to any employee.

Social Media
MOSTLY AI’s social media channels are managed by the Marketing Team. Any post in your capacity as MOSTLY AI employee must be pre-approved by the Marketing Team.
Community involvement and social responsibility

Human Rights
MOSTLY AI seeks to realize the human rights of all people. We do not cooperate with any entity that is violating (or is credibly accused of violating) human rights in their professional or private conduct.

Charitable And Political Donations
MOSTLY AI donates money and/or goods to charitable organizations. MOSTLY AI does not donate any amounts to any political parties or organizations.

Volunteering
At MOSTLY AI, you are entitled to take one day off every year for volunteering at a non-profit organization of your choice, as part of our commitment to social responsibility.
Your responsibilities
You must ensure that you read, understand and comply with this Code.
You must also:

Notify your manager as soon as possible if you believe or suspect that a breach of this Code has occurred, or may occur in the future.

Seek help or advice from the Legal Counsel if you have questions about any aspects of the Code.

Understand and comply with specific laws and regulations that apply to your specific role.

Complete any mandatory associated training that is offered to you.
Consequences of failure to comply
Disciplinary action, up to and including termination and/or legal proceedings, may result from any failure to comply with:

Process for review
This Code will be reviewed annually or as required following:

Any legislative changes or changes to industry guidance that might impact on it.

Any changes to other associated internal policies, processes or procedures.

Any breach or other incident relating to the issues addressed in this Code.
